The Project

Plan, create, and deliver a ‘top performer incentive’ to increase sales and employee engagement for an IT distributor. We had to explore ideas on where to host this program that would motivate a young, well-travelled group.

The Outcome

We gathered our team of MICE experts, brainstormed ideas, and decided that Cannes, France was the perfect destination to create inspiring experiences surrounded by distinctive culture. The aim was to encourage participants to leave their comfort zones and feel motivated to meet the ambitious targets set for them. Results were successful and include:

A near-perfect feedback score from attendees
Feedback that this was the ‘best incentive in the company’s existence’
Those who attended achieved 105-355% of their forecasted targets
12 delegates who achieved at least double their targets said that their high performance was due to the motivation this trip gave them

How We Did It

Little teasers for the programme were sent out in the lead up to the trip. The excitement began to build. The aim was to encourage the sales performers to put in ‘one final push’ for their seat on the plane. When the winners were announced, we unveiled the full details for this remarkable five-day experience. Noteworthy aspects of our part in this project include:

We wanted to make sure attendees left this trip feeling inspired. We did this through the amazing experiences we planned, including:

Having the attendees make their own black and white short movie for the next Cannes Film Festival
Rest and relaxation on the scenic beaches of Cannes
An elaborate gala dinner

The Destinations

Cannes, South of France

Cannes is the perfect place for chic events and modish meetings. Getting around Cannes is easy. The city is equipped with an efficient local bus system, Bus Azur. The bus system provides a service not only in the city but also to neighbouring Cannes la Bocca, Le Cannet, and Mandelieu-la Napoule.
